For our PokerSpy followers and App users on the IPhone, thank you so much for your contributions to the community, and the PokerSpy App. I have been on a bit of a hiatus from poker since the WSOP. Let’s just say I have a case of the Poker Burnout Bug. I have still been active on the PokerSpy App and writing a blog here and there but I needed a break. There is a reason you don’t see a lot of activity in the poker world during July and August, and that is poker fatigue. The WSOP can really wear down the professional and casual player. When it starts, there is an air of excitement and anticipation, and when it ends the mood is one of disappointment, fatigue, and acceptance. Now, don’t get me wrong for some people the WSOP is a springboard in their poker careers with big cashes in bracelet and side events. With that said, back to the focus of this blog.
I can’t get into the specifics just yet, but we have made a payment to our App Development Team, and are beginning to work on Version 2.0 for the IPhone. We are going to be implementing some very cool upgrades to the App and making some improvements to make it even more user friendly and fun to use. We are also brainstorming new ideas and promotions for our PokerSpy users that should make everyone want to be an active member of the community. More to come on that in next few months. You should be on the lookout for some of our upgrades to the App in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
Lastly, WE had a huge moment for our company this week and we will be announcing what that is to the world once it is finalized in the next week or so. Let’s just say PokerSpy is going to be on everyones mind in the poker world in the near future.
These are exciting times for all of us here at PokerSpy. Thanks for reading.
